It normally takes 4 to 8 weeks for a university's  admissions office to process an application and prepare the admission package with the documents you will need to apply for a Chinese visa. If you have not received a reply for more than 4 weeks, you can send an e-mail to admission@cucas.cn to solve the problem. Please include your application ID in the e-mail.

Applicants can login to their personal account (My CUCAS -> My Application -> Completed) to check the progress of their application. The "Application Status" will be updated as soon as the admissions office makes the decision, and the CUCAS system will send a confirmation e-mail to your registered e-mail address. Once the decision is made by the university, it will take several business days (5-15 days) to send your Admission Letter and JW202 form. Both these documents are needed to apply for a student visa.
